You’d think we would have learned after the first high wind that ripped our awning right off. Do you bring yours in every night or do you take your chances?
At the show, ask about awning upgrades. RV “whoopsies” can get expensive fast. #ocrvshow…
Everyone loves the idea of RV travel… until it’s time to actually buy one.
Spend five minutes in an IG Broadcast Channel or online forum, and you’ll see the same concerns come up again and again.
🚚 Towing. Not just driving down the road, but backing into campsites, dealing with crosswinds, and figuring out if your current vehicle can safely tow the RV you want.
🔧 Maintenance. “Am I buying a vacation… or another thing that constantly needs repairs?”
💰 Cost. Is owning an RV really more affordable, or does it only seem that way once you compare it to peak-season hotel prices?
🤔 Not knowing where to start. There are so many types of RVs, floorplans, tow ratings, and opinions that it’s easy to feel overwhelmed before you even begin.
That’s actually one of the biggest reasons we created the OC RV & Van Lifestyle Show. Not to pressure anyone into buying an RV, but to give people a place where they can walk through different models, compare options, meet dealers, talk with experienced RVers, and get honest answers to the questions that are keeping them on the fence.
So we’re curious… what’s the biggest thing holding you back? Your answer might help shape the topics, seminars, and conversations we bring to this year’s show.
Some campground rules are written… Others are just understood. 😅
Swipe through a few of our Campground Red Cards and tell us… 🟥 Which offense deserves an immediate ejection?
Looking for more RV tips, gear, and plenty of campground conversations like this? We’ll see you October 29–November 1 at the OC RV & Van Lifestyle Show. #ocrvshow…
Some vans get built in a factory. @Ready.Set.Van builds homes. Out of Hamilton, New Jersey, they put their hearts into every square inch. Beautiful. Capable. Made to take you anywhere and feel like yours when you get there.
This is their first year at the show, and we`re glad they`re here. Come look. Ask the questions. See what East Coast craftsmanship actually looks like up close.

A whole boat. In a bag. In your rig. @truekit_boats makes inflatable catamarans that pack down to nothing and set up in about 3 minutes. Stable enough to stand up in. Light enough to carry. Small enough to live in your camper until you find water. . Most people have never seen one in person. This fall you can see them at the @ocrvshow . Oct 29 – Nov 1 | @oceancitymaryland .
Clear your last weekend of October. The boardwalk`s quiet. The campfires are lit. The rigs roll in. The one weekend RVs take over the shore. Oct 29 to Nov 1. @oceancitymaryland
